About Us
A World of Excellence (AWE) is an indigenous Company established in 2019. It is registered with the URSB is incorporated in Uganda as a company with liability certificate No……….. A World of Excellence is currently working in Eastern Uganda in the districts of Mbale, Sironko, Manafwa, Bududa and Bulambuli. The area in question is densely populated with very few people able to practice extensive farming. This has been made worse by the land fragmentation and the customary land ownership style. The organization’s mandate is to serve the low-income earners in the hard-to-reach communities and areas as well as peri urban places with the aim of improving their livelihood.
A World of Excellence is a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through the enhancement of knowledge and skills. The project is designed to bridge gaps in education, foster continuous learning, and develop critical skills necessary for personal and professional growth in today’s dynamic world.

MISSION:
To build capacity of the communities especially women, and children to create a mindset change so as to a attain sustainable development through education and capacity building, promoting health and nutrition for excellent livelihood, environmental concern and economic Empowerment.
GOAL:
To play a part in attaining the sustainable development goals to reduce poverty and vulnerability in communities through impact mitigation interventions in an equitable and sustainable approach through enhanced partnerships.

Many experts have emphasised the potentials of backyard farming. The benefits of which have been categorized into four: environmental management, economic dependence, social improvement, and health and nutrition (ASDA, 2022).
Where we work
Our mandate is to reach communities through the women and children as entry points to help them unlock their potential through mindset change. We also visit schools to meet pupils and their teachers.
Currently we are based in the seven districts of Bugisu sub region namely; Mbale, Sironko, Manafwa, Bududa, Bulambuli Namisindwa, and Mbale City.
